Forces

This program is a bit different from the others. The idea is to identify the forces that act in a scene and draw force arrows to represent those forces. The parts of the scene are exploded into free-body diagrams and the forces are listed in a table. If you get the correct force in the correct direction and in the correct position, the force arrow will be drawn. (There is a 'Lazy' button if you get stuck). Also one of the options investigates the triangle of forces where two weights lift a baby on a string. There are four cartoon scenes to work on. a dancer , a climber, a zookeeper and a biker...Action and reaction forces, weight, friction and tension forces are included. You can print out a copy of the pictures with the force arrows and key.
